.: 2006/2007 Academic year Premier Awareness Seminar

This is an introductory seminar to be held at the beginning of the 2006/2007 academic Year. The seminar is geared towards generating interest through awareness, and subsequently membership registration.
Proposed Date:First Week of September
 
.: Graphics Designing Lectures

As promised last year, lectures will commence on graphic designing and software interface design .Implementation of the lecture will be done using Macromedia Fireworks and maybe Macromedia Flash as time goes on.All members MUST attend .Remember…IEEE is all about enriching YOU the technological way!
Proposed Date : Commences First WeeK of September and will hold once each week.
 
.: LAN Networking and Methodologies Lectures

Also on the list is a scheduled lecture series, on the grave and important subject area of local area networking .Discussion and explanation of important concepts such as LAN administration, security, monitoring, packet transfer, etc is the main aim of the lecture .Please note that these lectures, are exclusively a member benefit, and all student members are expected to attend .Resources for the program, are generated internally (from within us), however, external sponsorship is very welcome.
Proposed Date : Commences First WeeK of October and will hold once each week.
 
.: CET (Cutting Edge Technology) Monthly briefing.

A formal, functional and factual conference, in which IEEE members, and accredited presenters give detailed lectures on latest/Cutting Edge Technology available, on the World's various Technology Platforms.......Computing technologies,Electrical and Electronics,Medical milestones,Mass media achievements.......and many more. IEEE, the worlds leading technological Organization, remains the major source of these reliable, and up-to-date information.
Proposed Date : Once every month, beginning this September
 
.: Meetings

Due the fact that we are a growing branch, our meetings will hold within short time intervals, especially for our in house lectures, and also information dissemination. All members are implored to regularly check our notice board for date and time details. Venue remains Old SAT building.

A new concept huh? Well, get ready, for entertaining as well as educational tournaments of Scrabble, and Chess.The games program is a new concept, still in the blueprint stage and will be implemented immediately necessary logistics are ascertained.
