The Nnamdi Azikiwe University students branch of the IEEE was founded in 2001 by a group of innovative students of the university headed by Charles Igboanugo and unrepentantly supported by our branch counselor Engr. S.N Okeke. The branch is officially recognized by the IEEE headquarters based in the United States.

Since inception, she (the NAU-SB) has distinguished herself as a reputable forum for students in electrical/electronics and computer engineering and related fields.

Our mission is to provide undergraduate and gradutes students who have interest in the Electrical and Electronics or related engineering porfessions with opportunities for educational, technical and professional development in preparation for entry into the profession.
