theory an applications of electrical energy, electronics. computing
and other areas. IEEE was founded in 1884 and counted among its
founders to great Personalities such as Alexander Graham Bell and
Thomas Alva Edison.
IEEE Goals are of the Technological, Scientific and Educational
sort, we can remark the following:
- To contribute to the advancement of the Theory
and practice of Electricity, Electronics, Communications and Information
processing.
- To promote the academic excellence of all its members for which
it delivers scholarships and awards on a yearly basis to motivate
for the advancement of science and interest for research.
- To divulge the understanding of technology and engineering in
the society, deliverind considerable amounts of money in educational
and technological – awareness projects in the society.

developments, formulating internationally recognized standards,
thus making an impact on the international Community.
IEEE Mission
Its mission is to promote the advancement of global prosperity
for the benefit of mankind and the Profession, via the promotion
of the engineering processes in the creation, development, integration,
participation and application of knowledge of electromagnetic
science, electro-technology and computing.
Among its means, we have the making of Technical
Publications, Books’ edition, Conferences Organization and
sponsoring, and distinctions offered to its members, about 108
reviews and journals are published in different frequencies, at
three levels of depth: general content (the Spectrum Monthly review,
Newsletters), medium level (Magazines, Journals) and high level
(Proceedings, Transactions) During the last years more than 400
thousand pages of printed documents and books were released yearly.
Besides IEEE has a Digital Library, with nearly 600 thousand documents-
More than 350 annual conferences are organized
and sponsored worldwide during five years and is possible to obtain
the documents of the 130 greatest. In the called Proceedings Order
