CHAPTER POWER ENGINEERING SOCIETY
The creation of Chapter of Power
Engineering Society (PES) of the Student Branch IEEE - UNI arises
by the necessity to strengthen the knowledge acquired in the university
race and to spread the last advances in investigation referred
the specialty. Also, to increase the bows between the students
of our house of studies and the professionals of means and the
foreigner dedicated as much to teaching as to the specialized
activity of electrical engineering in Systems of Power.
It was as well as in the month
of August of the 2004, the managements for the formation of the
Chapter of Power Engineering Society (PES) of the Student Branch
IEEE - UNI began. For it we took advantage of the gratuitous option
membership that was offered to the members of the IEEE.
For September of the same year
tapeworm the authorization of formation of the president of I
already capitulate myself of the PES of Peru Section of the IEEE,
Eng. Cesar Chamochumbi García, and the collaboration of
director 2004 for the corresponding proceedings for the creation
of Capitulo.

List of initial Members of the Chapter
of Power of the REIEEE-UNI is the following one:
Like all new organization, the initial task is its consolidation
and permanence in passing of the years, besides to have a solid
directive base. Once obtained this, it is that all the objectives
can be reached and I put drawn up. For this, it is had thought
to stimulate membresía making activities with the purpose
of catching new members and maintaining to the present ones with
special promotions. Obtained I number of members that allow to
maintain us I capitulate active during the 2005, is had thought
to execute a series of courses and conferences in order to count
on an economic endorsement for purchases of magazines of the society
and thus to have a hemeroteca updated for Capitulo that serves
as source as consultation for the investigation groups.
Since one of the raised objectives is the diffusion of the Chapter
within the University Community, it is desired to give the greater
possible endorsement to the groups of investigation as far as
its participation in aids of projects to national level, as well
as it is tried to create a magazine in where importance articles
can be referred the Society of Power Engineering, whose distribution
can get to be gratuitous or at a very low price.
The concretización of all before mentioned could not be
made without the support of our Advisor Faculty, Eng. JOSE KOC
WHEEL and of the members of Capitulo that are:
ACTIVITIES TO BE MADE
For the accomplishment of the activities we counted on
the participation of the 12 integral members of Capitulo, in addition
to the support of the Student Branch IEEE - UNI.
Within the plans that this has, directive it is the accomplishment
of events with promociónales aims and to count on an economic
endorsement for the creation of a hemeroteca of the Society of
Power UNI - PES with the resaltantes and important studies but
of last the 10 years.
engineers interested in this area, our country will become a great
tecnologic development than would improve our life status. That
is the purpose for our Chapter and counting with majority of people
interested.
