BEGINNINGS OF THE STUDENT BRANCH IEEE

The IEEE Student Branch of the Universidad Nacional de Ingenieríais the FIRST branch been founded in our country, it is recognized by the IEEE April 14 1967 and it's recognized by Resolution Rectoral 0472 of April 29 1986. Beginning their formal activities in the year of 1982, in that time you taenia like president of the IEEE Section Peru to the Engineer Felix Valdez Calle, and I eat president from SAC to the Engineer Jubert Chávez, both together with the Engineer Juan Núñez Chávez and the Engineer Miguel Combe that they belonged to the membership committee, they threw a campaign to be able to form the branch among the students. It was summoned enthusiastic students, among them the President of the Cultural Center Pedro Paulet (CCPP) who supported this idea from their beginnings, since the necessity was seen of having a student representation with bonds toward the exterior of the University.
