Latest News about Sponsors of IEEE UKRI Student Congress
We have received the latest news regarding the sponsors on IEEE UKRI Student Branch. The oroginal announcement from the organizer is attached following.
"Dear IEEE Members,
Exciting news - Google are the latest company to be attending the IEEE Student Congress 2007! They'll be presenting to attendees and recruiting, so make sure you polish up those CVs!
Google will join Lockheed Martin, Sun Microsystems, RS, Praxis HIS and Transitive at the event to be held here at York in June. There will be presentations and workshops from some of the companies, so it's a chance to learn more about the industry and make some great contacts.
Commercial companies are just one reason to attend the congress. It's also an opportunity to learn more about the IEEE, attend professional skills courses, hear from experienced figures in the industry and invited speakers, socialise and network with other students from all over the UK and Ireland and more!
Not forgetting, of course, the opportunity to spend a weekend in the beautiful and historic city of York. The registration fee is only £40 for three days, and this includes full access to the congress events, subsidised travel, two nights accommodation and a ticket to the congress dinner.
This is going to be a very special weekend, and we're very excited to have Google and the rest of our sponsors attending.
If you haven't already signed up for the congress, please hurry to avoid disappointment by registering online at http://www.yorkieee.org, tickets are limited!
For those who have already signed up, more information will continue to go up on the website as 1-3 June approaches.
See you at the Congress!
