IEEEXtreme 24 Hour Online Competition


IEEEXtreme is a global challenge for teams of student members, supported by an IEEE Student Branch or university.  Participating in IEEEXtreme gives students a unique and fun learning experience, while competing with teams of students from around the world in a global event.  Registration is open until 9 October!

 




 


About IEEEXtreme

The next IEEEXtreme event will take place on 23 October 2010 starting at 00:00 GMT and ending 23:59 GMT.  Mark your calendars!  Teams compete in a 24-hour time span against each other to solve a set of programming problems.  

To give Student Branches a challenge to embrace students studying in engineering, computers, information science and technology - team work is an important skill to develop for career success.

To be successful:

  • See the official competition rules 
  • Use the student brach website and links provided to promote the challenge.
  • Form teams to include no more than 3 IEEE Student members (Student members or Graduate Student members).
  • To provide Student Branches with an interesting and exciting activity.
  • To increase awareness of the IEEE activities and membership on campus.
