We would like to invite nominations for following Chapter Officer positions for IEEE Dallas Circuits and Systems Society (DCAS) for year 2009:

1. Chair

3. Publicity Chair and Secretary
4. Technical Program Chair
5. Treasurer
6. Meetings Chair


Please send in your nominations (an e-mail specifying your name, affiliation, and the position interested in) to dcas@ieee.org by 12/10/2008. Elections will be held for the positions that receive more than one nomination. The election meeting will be held on 12/12/2008 at Texins Activity Center.

Our chapter is very active year round. The chapter holds 7-8 monthly technical seminars by local experts and an annual 2-day workshop attended mostly by local technical community with some international participation. We plan to take our workshop to the next level in 2009. We need enthusiastic volunteers willing to spend time to organize monthly seminars, attend one administrative meeting per month, and take up an active role in organizing the annual workshop.
