MOTOROLA FELLOWSHIP

The Motorola Fellowship invites papers to be submitted for the eighth annual competition to be held at the 49th Electronic Components and Technology Conference (ECTC) to be held in San Diego California. The fellowship is intended to stimulate research on advanced electronic packaging design and technology by prospective doctoral students. The stipend is $21,100 for one year.
Prospective candidates must have completed at least one year of graduate work in engineering or a related science at an accredited university or technical institute. There are no restrictions on the nationality or origin of the student nor the location of the school where he/she may be enrolled. The paper must be presented in person by the contestant.
The Procedure for application is contained in the "Call for Papers" for the 49th ECTC. This consists of submission of an abstract of the paper to be presented at the ECTC in the usual format described in this Call. A letter of application for the fellowship competition should be submitted with the abstract. The Procedure in the Call should be followed rigorously.
