CARTS - EUROPE 99
13th European Passive Components Conference
October 18 - 22, 1999
Sheraton Lisboa Hotel & Towers, Lisbon Portugal
CARTS-EUROPE is an annual forum designed to promote the exchange
of knowledge within the passive electronic components industry.
It is recognized as the premiere forum for the presentation of
the latest developments in passive component technology, associated
materials, measurement methods and testing techniques. CARTS-EUROPE
now covers the whole spectrum of passive components, including;
Capacitors, Filters, Magnetics, Networks, Resistors, Integrated
& Other Passives
As well as a symposium of both invited and submitted technical
papers the conference includes technical seminars and a unique
marketing seminar. Whilst the technical seminars are designed
to train new engineers and update more experienced personnel,
the marketing seminar provides an invaluable worldwide survey
of the passive components and associated materials markets by
analysing current and future trends.
Papers are invited for the symposium technical sessions and
the "Trends & Technology Forum"
Typical subjects for the symposium sessions include but
are not limited to:
Typical subjects:
Applications: High Temperature, Automobile/ Aerospace, Telecommunications,
Low ESR
Design & Construction: Integrated Passives, Overvoltage Devices,
Chip Resistors, Electrochemical
Materials & Processes: Dielectrics, Terminations, Coatings,
Vacuum Deposition
Reliability & Testing: Failure Mechanisms, Field Reliability
Data, Test Results, New Test Techniques
