CPMT Introduces New and Emerging Technologies at ECTC
Technical Vice President Rao Tummala, having created a number of new technical committees during the last two years consistent with the industry directions, began introducing them throughout the Society. The first set of these technologies were introduced at this year’s ECTC in a plenary session chaired by Prof. Tummala:
1. Dr. Karl Johnson, Motorola, "Future Directions of RF and Wireless Technologies"
2. Dr. Phil Garrou, Dow Chemical, "status and prospects of Wafer level Chip scale Packaging"
3. Dr. Karen Markus, MCNC, "MEMS Packaging: Markets and Technology Challenges"
This highly successful evening session was attended by over 250 people and is expected to repeat next year.
