You are Part of Our Living History
Our Society is putting together a 50 year history of our packaging, components, and manufacturing technology fields. A booklet summarizing this history will be given to all CPMT Society members. We would like all of you to describe technological events or announcements that had a big impact on your lives and work. List the leaders in these fields that inspired and influenced your work and boldly declare yourself as such a leader if that’s how it is.
Please include your daytime phone or fax numbers so that the IEEE historians can contact you for clarifications and additions. Supporting photographs and artifacts would add to the excitement but are not needed to spin your tale.
All engineers tend to belittle their role in the big picture, but we ask that you submit your perspective without self-judgement. In this way historians can assemble a finer resolution picture. Submit your input by email to [50cpmt@ieee.org].
