CPMT Budget is Solid
CPMT continues to operate without significant variances from the 1999 budget.
The proposed CPMT budget for calendar year 2000 was approved by the IEEE Board of Directors in November and will be our operating plan for next year. The $1.25 million budget has an operating surplus of $36K, compared to a budgeted deficit of $31K in 1999.
The proposed New Financial Model (NFM) for restructuring IEEE finances and changing the distribution of IEEE infrastructure expenses was not approved by the IEEE Board of Directors and will not be implemented in the year 2000. See the separate NFM article in this newsletter.
