CPMT Fellows Search Report

George Harman from NIST reported as Chair of the CPMT Fellows Committee. The committee must review all nominations submitted through our Society by June 15. We want to encourage as many members to nomination as possible. Several lessons were learned this year. Of the 14 initial nominations one turned out to be better matched to one of our sister societies. In addition, 3 more nominees did not have all the i's dotted and t's crossed. It is important for the nominator to read all the instructions rather than just going by instinct. All this said, CPMT has a respectible number of nominees that will be submitted to the IEEE Fellows committee. We will announce the results in early November.
This year's CPMT Fellows Committee members are: Diana Bendz, Jack Balde, Leo Feinstein, Ronald Gedney, George Harman, Prof. Kanji Otsuka, and Prof. C. P. Wong.
