25th International Electronics Manufacturing Technology Symposium

On October 2-3, 2000 the IEMT Symposium will meet in Santa Clara. This meeting is coming from a few years in Austin. Now the meeting will be held in conjunction with SEMI/MEPTEC PackCon 2000. There will be 2 days of IEMT Technical Sessions, 1 day of MEPTEC sessions, and 2 days of PackCon 2000 Exposition. This Packaging equipment and service exposition is better matched to CPMT members than the previous semiconductor processing exposition in Austin.
Keynote speakers lined up include:
Steve Anderson, Amkor VP of Corporate Marketing on October 2nd.
Jack Keimel, Medtronics VP of Research and Advanced Concepts on October 3rd.
The IEMT will consist of eight technical sessions of 60 papers (2 parallel sessions on each day).
** Systems specific packaging technologies, package modeling, reliability, assembly.
** Emerging packaging trends, flip chip array packaging
** Pb free, environmentally friendly manufacturing
** Electronics and semiconductor manufacturing optimization.
