MEMBERSHIP

There are some great opportunities within the Global Chapter and
Membership Development area. Assistance is needed in three primary areas:
development of region champions program, organization of global chapters meetings and membership advertising. We also need help in other chapters/membership programs. Responsibilities for each of the areas is outlined below.

Region Champions Program
Develop list of responsibilities for Region Champions. We need BoG members to have close contact with chapters in individual Regions.
Recruit BoG members to represent each of the ten IEEE Regions. We need start with Regions 8 (Europe & FSU) and Region 10 (Far East).

Organization of Global Chapters Meetings
Global Chapters meetings have been held annually for the past two years at ECTC. Now we need to explore the possibility of holding more localized meetings in Regions 8 and 10.
Determine needs of Chapters in Regions 8 and 10
Organize and conduct chapters meetings in Regions 8 and 10 to address local chapter needs

Membership Advertising
We have been conducting successful conference, education and publication programs for years but we have not been successful in publicizing these efforts and programs. We need to publicize these successful programs to existing and potential members
Define CPMT membership values theme
Conduct media advertising program
