Mad as Heck! Full of Email Attachments
Isn't it fun to log onto your e-mail account just to catch-up
and find "Mailbox limit exceeded, Delete items before continuing?"
Or to be at an airport and click on an e-mail that has a hidden
long attachment and spend 30 minutes waiting?
Attaching files to your e-mail message can be a double edged
sword. We are all impressed by what you accomplish with Powerpoint,
Excel, or in PDF
but you are clogging up our mailboxes, wearing
out our printers, and even filling our hard drives.
Take your great work and put it on a web site or a ftp site.
Then just send your e-mail with a linked URL address. Then if
we want to see your masterpiece we can click once and download
it.
That's how this newsletter works. This common courtesy was
overlooked by "Emily Post" -- never send an unsolicited
attachment larger than 25KB to a friend. Thanks.
