CPMT Membership Growth Continues to Edge Higher

After a 1.9% growth rate in December 2000, the annual growth rate for CPMT Society memberships has been steadily climbing to 8.3% in July 2001. CPMT memberships for month-end July 2001 totaled 3910, an increase of 298 over July 2000. Fueling this growth has been recruitment of members at conferences and CPMT Chapter membership programs. Thanks for being an IEEE-CPMT Society Member. Your continued support helps CPMT bring more publications, conferences, and education to your colleagues as well as yourself.

Use a Membership Development Incentive to Recruit New Members at Your Next Conference

Planning a conference? Then you'll want to plan a membership display and recruitment desk. You'll also want to use the MD incentive program that allows you to offer one free Society membership to every new IEEE member or Student recruited at your conference. That's right, increase membership in the CPMT Society and let IEEE Membership Development foot the bill simply by recruiting new members for IEEE. The new applicants recruited will also be given a chance to win a free second year of IEEE membership. To participate in this program, you need to have a Conference Membership Recruitment (CMR) MD tracking code. To see the details of the CMR program, go to http://www.ieee.org/organizations/rab/md/cmr.html. To get your CMR tracking code, email mail to: w.hunter@ieee.org.
