CPMT Has New Fellows of Institute

The IEEE Fellow election committee announces the names of 258 new "Fellows of the Institute" from the ranks of IEEE Senior Members. Your CPMT Society has the honor of having six of these new Fellows as our members:

Dr. Cristina H. Amon, Carnegie Mellon University,
For contributions to thermal management techniques for wearable computers and portable electronics.


Prof. Paul Siu-Chung Ho, University of Texas at Austin
For contributions to metalization of and metrology for multilevel interconnects and electronic packages.


Dr. Osami Ishida, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation,
For leadership in research and development of microwave devices for mobile communications.

Mr. George Alexander Katopis of IBM,
For contributions to the advancement of switching noise estimation and containment in first level packaging structures and architecting of design approaches.


Dr. Ravindhar K. Kaw
For contributions to the development of parametrics, tools, and methodologies for the electrical design of electronic packaging.


Dr. Tseung-Yuen Tseng, National Chiao Tung University,
For contributions to ceramic capacitor and sensor technology.

Your CPMT Society has more than 100 fellows amongst our membership. We encourage every member to nominate or be nominated for this earned honor when you are a Senior member and have made significant technical and CPMT organizational contributions. When you fill out the application forms for Fellow of the Institute it is recommended that 5 current IEEE Fellows fill out the nomination forms.
