Welcome to the DEIS Website! It is a privilege to write this welcome message as the DEIS President. This website is a result of the contributions from many DEIS volunteers that started as an ambitious project about two years ago.
This new website is designed to be a learning platform for all ages, as well as containing other functions related to administration of the society. While it contains many valuable resources for individuals in the dielectrics and electrical insulation fields, there are many other benefits for DEIS members, such as access to educational videos, the papers published in DEIS publications (Transactions, Electrical Insulation Magazine, and Conference Proceedings), Distinguished Lecture Program, DEIS Awards, Fellowship opportunities for graduate students, DEIS Sponsored and Interest Conferences, and much more.
As you get more familiar with the website, you will notice that this is an interactive forum, so I invite you to become a 'blogger' so you can share your ideas with fellow dielectrics and electrical insulation professionals and students. I hope you take a moment to navigate through the website and enjoy its content as much as I do.
Again, WELCOME to the new DEIS Website! I am looking forward to your contributions to its content.
