Author Biographies

Brian L. F. Daku received his B.A.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario in 1980, and his M.Sc and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1987 and 1990 respectively. He worked for SED Systems Inc., Saskatoon from 1980 to 1984, where he was involved with microprocessor applications in satellite receivers and industrial products. In 1986/87 he was a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. He joined the University of Saskatchewan, Department of Electrical Engineering in 1990. His research interests are in microseismic fault localization, wireless communication systems, digital signal processing and passive underwater signal processing.

Keith D. Jeffrey, received his B.Sc. in 1982 and his M.Sc. in 1995 in electrical engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. He has been employed managing information technology in the College of Engineering there since 1982. Since 1997 he has been the Manager of the Peter N. Nikiforuk Innovative Teaching and Learning Centre.
