Please join me in congratulating and celebrating the achievements of our IAS colleagues who were recently elevated to IEEE Fellow for extraordinary leadership and contributions in IAS fields of interest. As a preface, I would like to remind us of the IEEE and IAS vision and mission, which provide the foundation for our work:

IEEE VISION: To advance global prosperity by fostering technological innovation, enabling members' careers and promoting community world-wide.

IEEE MISSION: The IEEE promotes the engineering process of creating, developing, integrating, sharing, and applying knowledge about electro and information technologies and sciences for the benefit of humanity and the profession.

IAS Vision: to be a world leader in the advancement of technology and dissemination of technical information to support professionals engaged in the applications of electrical and electronic engineering to industry.
