2008-05-23 This page is dedicated to the recording of the rich history of the IEEE Industry Application Society and to appropriately honor those men and women who have performed their voluntary tasks with zeal and energy that far surpassed the requirements called for by the organization. This page is also intended to convey to future generations of electrical engineers devoted to the application of the electrical engineering arts to the advancement of the industries of the world that they do not stand alone, that their work and their own dedication to their chosen profession are founded on the shoulder of those who came before them. This page starts with a chronological listing of all the officers and award recipients, both Institute wide and Society wide. A series of written history of the IAS departments in PDF format are also available via links to the documents. The documents come from the 1995 supplement to the IAS Transactions titled:A History Update of the Industry Application Society published in October of 1995. The supplement comes to us via the generosity of the present editor of the IAS Magazine, Louie J.
