guidelines for power point presentations are excellent.
They are useful for use in any presentation at
anyplace. I strongly encourage authors and presenters
to use them at this IAS conference.
So is the Committee and Tutorial Schedule.
Use the link on the left to reach the listing of committee meetings and the schedule of Tutorials. While this is a preliminary list it is probably close to the final list available at the Annual meeting.

The members of the Florida West Coast IAS Chapter welcome you to Tampa
Tampa Bay is a cosmopolitan community with great cultural attractions, on all sides of the bay, from theatre to Dali. It is also a land of major first class shopping centers. Busch Gardens in Tampa and the theme parks of Orlando compliment the area.
The Marriott is a new, in 2000, convention and business hotel. It is conveniently located near the Convention Center, Sports Arena, Chanelside Entertainment Complex and the Aquarium. The Marriott is well tuned to the needs of the IEEE, having just concluded the 2005 Sections Congress, with a look to future IEEE conferences (Computer and PES).
Arrive by road, air or water. Tampa International Airport, the friendly one, is but 15 minutes away. The Interstate Road System is moments from the hotel. Arrive by water and dock at one of 32 docks in the Marriott Marina or if you wish, the cruise docks are only a few blocks away. And yes, the Streetcar stops at the front door.
General Chair, Mark Halpin, and the Society Technical Committees promise the usual great sessions and tutorials, including exciting technical paper presentations, panel discussions, and vendor presentations spanning a very broad range of industrial applications, such as, lighting, mining, metals, petroleum & chemical, electric machines, power electronics and drives, power systems, and many others. These presentation forums will focus on product applications, industry standards, manufacturing and production strategies and techniques, and research advances.
