They will not receive it if they do not provide the complete and precise mailing address during registration.

Preparation of the final version of the paper

The final version of the paper must be prepared according to the guidelines provided in one of the following documents:

-        the guidelines in the HTML format to be read and printed directly from the network browser;

-        the skeleton of the paper in the RTF format (with macros for Microsoft Word) that can be downloaded and used for typing the paper in the required format;

Notice: The instructions concerning the preparation of manuscripts for submission to the IMTC 2007 Special Issue of IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement will appear soon in section POST-CONFERENCE ACTIONS.

Preparation of the copyright transfer form

It is recommended to start the preparation of the copyright transfer form by deciding which of the following three forms is to be signed:

-        the IEEE Copyright Form,

-        the US Government Employee Certification Form, or

-        the Crown Government Employee Certification Form.

The choice depends on the author's copyright status which is determined to a large extent by the type of employer for whom the author works. In particular:

-        If all the authors are employed by the US Government, then one of them should sign the US Government Employee Certification Form. However, if at least one of the authors is employed by a private enterprise, then he/she should sign the IEEE Copyright Form.

-        If all the authors are employed by a Crown Government, then one of them should sign the Crown Government Employee Certification Form. However, if at least one of the authors is employed by a private enterprise, then he/she should sign the IEEE Copyright Form.

The authors, who are authorized to sign a copyright transfer form, should use the IEEE eCF system for its generation and submission. This system is integrated with the web-based system for submission of papers. It includes an important tool (the Wizard) that, through a series of questions and replies, determines the author's copyright status and brings the author to the appropriate form to sign.

The authors, who are not authorized to sign a copyright transfer form, should download the paper version of a copyright transfer form, fill it in, and ask an authorized person to sign it.

Notice: The authors who like to disseminate their paper electronically – by means of any website, ftp site or other technique – must include the following IEEE copyright notice on the initial screen displaying the IEEE-copyrighted material:

Copyright 2007 IEEE. Published in the Proceedings of IMTC 2007, Warsaw, Poland, May 1-3, 2007. Personal use of this material is permitted. However, permission to reprint/republish this material for advertising or promotional purposes or for creating new collective works for resale or redistribution to servers or lists, or to reuse any copyrighted component of this work in other works, must be obtained from the IEEE.
