Information for potential attendees
The potential attendees are invited to express their interests in the topics from the above list by fulfilling the appropriate boxes at the registration page by March 6, 2007. The feedback received in this way will give the basis for the final decision concerning the program of tutorials: 7 attendees, interested in a given tutorial, will be sufficient for its inclusion into the final program which should appear on this website by March 10, 2007.
The final program of tutorials will be a list of half-day presentations. Attendees will be able to take combinations of tutorials (i.e. any morning tutorial with any afternoon tutorial) after registration and payment. The registration fee will cover the cost of CD containing notes prepared by the presenters. The cost of a half-day tutorial is USD 150 (full member fee). The cost for a full day of tutorials is USD 250 (full member fee). More details concerning tutorial registration and payment may found in the section REGISTRATION of this website. Please note that the proceeds from the attendees’ fees go to the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society.
Further information and help:
The presenters of tutorials are not paid; they are volunteering their time and expertise to support the conference activities of IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society. However, one presenter in each tutorial is eligible for the reimbursement for some expenses (one extra hotel night, an air ticket) up to USD 1000.
The notes, either PowerPoint slides or text in the form of an electronic file, should be prepared by the presenters according to the following rules:
- The slides, if reprinted, may be shrunk to 2 or 3 slides per page.
- The font should not be less than 10 points (for readability).
- They should be not longer than 20 pages, for a half-day tutorial, and 50 pages, for a full-day tutorial.
The notes, accompanied by a signed agreement to present and a signed copyright transfer form, should be delivered to the IMTC 2007 organizers by March 30, 2007.
