SPECIAL SECTION IN AN ISSUE OF THE IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INSTRUMENTATION AND MEASUREMENT
The IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement will publish
a Special Section on Virtual Environments, Human-Computer Interface and Measurement Systems,
including also extended versions of manuscripts presented at VECIMS 2003.
Papers submitted to this Special Section must be extended and expanded
versions of papers accepted and presented at the conference. The structure
and the quality of the submitted papers must be suited for consideration
in an archival journal. Direct submission of the paper published in the
proceedings is usually not appropriate for the Transactions. In particular,
authors should include a suited review of the state of the art, motivation
of the research, details about the adopted methodologies, and a number of
experimental results with extensive comments.
If you are planning to submit your paper for this Special Section,
please follow the instructions below.
MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION AND FORMAT
Read and follow carefully all the following instructions.
- Read the Information for Authors on the Society
web page and make sure your paper complies with IEEE standards of quality, presentation, and formatting.
- Your paper must be single column, double spaced and printed on one side of the paper only.
- Follow the title of your paper with a list of all authors, then give the name, address, phone, fax and email of the corresponding author.
- Before beginning the text of your paper, insert a brief Abstract followed by a list of five to eight
Key Words. To access a list of potential keywords, send an e-mail to keywords@ieee.org and request the list.
It will be returned to you on e-mail.
