The NPSS Distinguished Lecturer Program (DLP) sponsors the presentation of lectures at NPSS Chapter meetings. In addition, NPSS Distinguished Lecturers are available for presentations to non-IEEE entities (e.g., universities) at the expense of those entities.

Chapters

The IEEE is divided into ten geographic Regions worldwide. Within those Regions are 330 local Sections and 1,788 technical Chapters that unite local members with similar technical interests. Members of the IEEE automatically become members of their local IEEE Section, allowing them to share technical, professional and personal interests with others in IEEE's worldwide member community.
