Directions: At the airport, follow signs for the MARTA trains. At the station use a vending machine (takes major credit cards) to purchase a Breeze card for $2.00 and load it with at least $2.50 to cover the one-way fare or $5.00 to also cover your return at the end of the conference. To use the card, which has an internal magnetic strip, briefly place on the round read pad next to the station platform entry gates (see photo below). Take either the red or gold line (all trains go in the right direction since the airport is the end station) north to the Peachtree Center station. Exit to Peachtree Street East. Turn right and walk ½ block north to the Hyatt Regency conference site. Fall weather in Atlanta is generally good, but be prepared for the possibility of rain during the short (3 minute) walk.

The MARTA train system serves the Atlanta area with four lines arranged in basic north-south/east-west cross as can be seen in the map below. The southern terminus of the red and gold lines is the Atlanta airport and both stop at the same stations through the downtown area where the conference is located.

MARTA uses a fixed fare ($2.50 per trip) system for all travel and the fare includes transfers to the bus system that connects at many MARTA stations to reach destinations away from the train routes.
