Our monthly newsletter provides pre- and post-event news of PCS activities, along with short, practical articles, tutorials, and web site and book reviews. The frequent publication provides quick turnaround and the opportunity to develop dialogs in letters to the editor. Examples of the regular features of the Newsletter include the President's Column, Book Reviews, Web Site Reviews, "Net Notes" from Beth Weise Moeller, "Professor Grammar", "Ask the Expert" from Jean-Luc Duomont, and "Thinking Globally, Teaching Locally" from Kirk St. Amant.
Each issue has a theme associated with it. Several articles within the issue are related to the theme of the month, including a special feature article. We welcome suggestions and articles. Please review the Newsletter Article Submission Guidelines, and contact the Editor with your ideas.
IEEE-PCS members for whom we have email addresses are automatically subscribed to the newsletter. If you are a member and are not currently receiving notification of each issue's availability, it's because we 1) don't have your correct email address or 2) your spam filter has blocked the email and sent a bounce message to the list manager. If you want to receive notification when each issue is published, click here.
Note: Make sure that you put pcsnews.editor AT ieee.org and IEEE_PCS_News AT mail.vresp.com into your Allowed List (replace the AT with @). Some SPAM filters will block the email otherwise.
