Discusses Fuel Problems |
Join us Tuesday, October 25, at El Gallo Restaurant
on South Congress in Austin, for a presentation on The
Problems of Generator Fuel Stability and Related Issues.
Gregory A. Hagopian is President of Fuel Technologies
International, LLC. He has been a featured or guest
speaker for such groups. and has authored several
articles regarding stored diesel fuel stability for industry
publications and is the editor of the FTI Technical Information
Report published quarterly.

October 5-7 IEEE PES CIGRE Symposium, San Antonio |
We are pleased to announce
that the Power Engineering Society, International Council
on Large Electric Systems, will now be held at the
Hilton Palacio del Rio in San Antonio Texas on the
originally scheduled dates, 5-7 October 2005. This
is an excellent, attractive venue on the famous Riverwalk. Accompanying
persons will be very pleased with the restaurants,
shopping, and museums within walking distance
of the hotel. The several CIGRE Study Committees meeting
in conjunction with the Symposium on the days preceding
and following the Symposium also remain on the schedule
as planned.

October 13, Central Texas Lighting Exposition |
The Texas Capital Section of the Illuminating Engineering
Society of North America is proud to present a tabletop
exhibit of new lighting products to our regional design
community. Consider this to be Central Texas' mini-Lightfair!!
Products will include luminaries, lamps and control systems
to say the least. This is a FREE event! The exhibit doors
open at 3pm and appetizers begin at 6pm.
Door prize drawings throughout the event-must be present
