Next Meeting, Tuesday, July 25, Engineering Ethics

James Wesley Smith, PE, of the Texas Board of Professional Engineers, will provide us a program on Engineering Ethics. The presentation will be focused on engineering ethics but it will also address some of the latest statute and rule changes as well as the most recent issues regarding the Board and agency operations that affect the licensing community. Also to be presented are enforcement issues and some recent sanctions that the Board has taken against non-licensed and licensed engineers. The meeting is open for all and the P.E.'s attending will be given a certificate to meet the one hour of ethics training required annually by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. For more information please see the announcement.

Analog Newsletter

Some attendees of our meetings have not been receiving their electronic copy of the IEEE Central Texas Section Newsletter, The Analog. If you are an IEEE member, your subscription is automatic to your profile on record at IEEE. IF you are not a member, you may subscribe. Details are provided at the Analog Webpage.

Be advised that there is NOT a lot of traffic on this list intentionally.  The list manager tries to keep it below 3 emails a month - The Analog, the mid-month reminder, and maybe an emergency announcement, but we prefer 2 emails a month.
