How Lack of Documentation Will Cause Problems |
Join us on at the September meeting when our very
own former leader provides us his insight into how
inadequate documentation of facilities installations
may result in an unanswered questions in the case of
a later investigation. James is a multifaceted engineer
with previous experience in highway lighting and traffic
signals and who is now a Hydraulics Engineer at the

| Analog
Newsletter |
Some attendees of our meetings have not been
receiving their electronic copy of the IEEE Central Texas
Section Newsletter, The
Analog. If you are an IEEE member, your subscription
is automatic to your profile on record at IEEE. IF you
are not a member, you may subscribe. Details are provided
at the Analog Webpage.
Be advised that
there is NOT a lot of traffic on this list intentionally. The
list manager tries to keep it below 3 emails a month
- The Analog, the mid-month reminder, and maybe
an emergency announcement, but we prefer 2 emails a month. |
| San
Antonio and Austin Have New PES Chapters |
Congratulations to the engineers in Austin and San
Antonio for establishing new IEEE PES chapters effective
August 1, 2006. The chapter leaders are looking forward
to working with each other under Central Texas Section
and the Power Engineering Society. Interestingly, Central
Texas Section PES members will not have to choose between
the two chapters; we will automatically be members of
both chapters. So we may pick and choose the programs
we like best or even attend them all.
The Austin Chapter officers are:
President: Ron Brown
Vice President: Mike Noth
Secretary: Rheuben Hair
Treasurer: Stacy Smith
Webmaster: Don Drumtra
The San Antonio Chapter officers are:
Chairman, Annie Lévesque,
P.E.
Vice Chairman: Scott Walowsky
Secretary/Treasurer: Steven Mouser |
