Meeting, Tuesday, June 26, Jon Limbacher, Lighting Seminar |
Join us at our meeting on Tuesday, June 26, for a two part seminar on Lighting. presented by Jon Limbacher of Spectrum Lighting.
Part 1: "A practical guide to dimming lighting sources." An overview of modern incandescent dimming methods, interface methods to control electronic fluorescent dimming ballasts, and why you shouldn't dim HID lamps.
Part 2: "IECC 2006: Lighting and the new energy code." A brief overview of the lighting requirements of the new code and how it has changed from 2000 and 2003. The city of Austin is rumored to be adopting this code Summer 2007.
Our social time begins
at 6 PM followed by dinner, the presentation, and a
discussion. Students eat free and accompanying
spouses pay member rates. Please email our Secretary, Stan

Many thanks to Eddie Schoenthal of Bonded Lightning Protection who wowed us with his excellent presentation on Lightning Protection. Not only was his presentation enlightening to us all but Eddie also provided us with many pieces of protection equipment for us to examine. It was a program well wroth our time. |

Analog. If you are an IEEE member, your subscription
is automatic to your profile on record at IEEE. IF you
are not a member, you may subscribe. Details are provided

there is not a lot of traffic on this list intentionally. The
