6. .  2008 calendar. Two classes are confirmed. Friday, Feb. 27, will be an eight hour class for engineers and Saturday a four hour class for electricians. Grayboy will teach.  Thad confirmed JTAC facility. Plan for ten sponsors. Stacy to call Grayboy to check on cost of books. Mike to check on union bulk book buy and course reimbursement .  
7. Engineer of the year award.  We have some nominees but no committee volunteers. Don to post announcements on Website. Stan and Mike to compose message to members.

Future Meeting Ideas - Smart Grid. 

Possible tours: Valmount Steel, UT new generator and SF6 Substation, JJ Pickle, Long or Bass Concert Center, DVR @ AE, LCRA dam, Power Lab @ UT, SMI Cement Plant, Sequine, AFD – City codes for wreck-out, etc..
