Don continue to forward Mike e-mails of meetings and schedules.
2. 2008 new Executive team members New members to be nominated September 25, 2007 and voted into position October 23, 2007:
Bobby Speer for treasurer.
Catalina Martinez for Webmaster.
Stacy will move to Chair.
Rheuben will move to Vice-chair.
Stan will remain secretary.
Don will move to Member-at-Large.
Other Past Chairs will remain as Past Chairs
3. 2007-2008 Transition Has begun.
4. 2008 Calendar

February is confirmed (see below). Mike is working on speakers for January and March.  Team members to continue to bring in possible topics and topics for the evening meetings.

5. NEC 2008 class.  Two classes!

Mike has confirmed facility for the February NEC classes at the IBEW training facility. The Saturday class will include an hour training on TDLR rules.  Stallcup’s® Illustrated Code Changes will be the only publication provided at the classes. The chapter will provide coffee and donuts Friday and Saturday and lunch on Friday.

6. Engineer of the Year Award Committee nominations are Stacy, Roy, James, and Mike. Committee needs to schedule a meeting to determine procedures and qualifications.  
7. Review old paperwork for by-laws Rheuben provided Mike the box of files he has. Mike to review and provide Don copies of the bylaws, past meeting announcements and other historical information for the Website archive.
8. L-31 Reports Stacy reported that she has submitted all required L-31 reports.
9. Website Don provided an archives page, rearranged the historical information, and cleaned up the behind-the-scene part of the Website. Roy agreed to provide a copy of the historical disk he has for possible inclusion on the site. Mike to take photographs of Past Chairs for posting on the Website as part of the Chapter Committee.
Future Meeting/tour Ideas- Smart Grid, Valmount Steel, UT new generator and SF6 Substation, JJ Pickle, Long or Bass Concert Center, DVR @ AE, LCRA dam, Power Lab @ UT, SMI Cement Plant, Sequin, AFD – City codes for wreck-out, etc.
