Description of Subject Matter/Action	Action By
1. Purpose: Mike called this special meeting based on the availability of Gilbert Forrales of JATC to discuss the February training classes and other issues in preparation to the general meeting at 6 PM	All to attend.
2. Publications: Gilbert advised that he could obtain the NEC and NEC Handbook to support the classes for $55.00 and $86.50 respectively in paper and $84.00 and $148.50 respectively on CD. We need to order early to lock in these prices	Stan to compile orders and provide to Gilbert by Thanksgiving. Stan to provide a signup sheet and Mike to make an announcement at the meeting. Don to post on Website and Stan to send a message to all members with the details.
3. Electricians class: Gilbert recommended that the class be conducted on Thursday evening rather than Saturday	Stacy to ask Stallcup if the day can be changed and advise Mike. Mike to coordinate specific times with Gilbert.
4. Rates: rates are dependent on the amount that Stallcup will be charging	Stacy to ask Stallcup what the cost will be and advise Mike. Mike to propose rates to the Chapter Committee at the November meeting.
5. Class: details need to be settled and announcements posted	All to consider details to discuss the November Chapter Committee meeting
6. November General Meeting: The scheduled tour was canceled, the potential speaker declined, and no replacement speaker has been identified	Mike to make a final call to be sure no speaker is available. Mike to announce that there will be no November meeting. Don to post information on the Website.
7. Elections:	Walter to conduct elections.
8. Website photos:	Mike to bring camera to take photos of the newly elected officers, James, Walter, and other officers who would rather have another picture.
9. Website conversion: In preparation to splitting the Austin and San Antonio PES Websites. This will change the address of the Austin Website and there will be times in the next few weeks when parts of the Website will not operate properly.	Don to provide details to the members at the meeting. Don to post information on the Website.
Future Meeting/tour Ideas- Smart Grid, Valmount Steel, UT new generator and SF6 Substation, JJ Pickle, Long or Bass Concert Center, DVR @ AE, LCRA dam, Power Lab @ UT, SMI Cement Plant, Sequin, AFD – City codes for wreck-out, etc.
