Description of Subject Matter / Action	Action Before Next Meeting
1. NEC Update Class Mike contacted CTS and Gilbert and confirmed our proposed rates. Stan passed out a draft of the class information, prices, and payment procedures he was to send to PES members. ChapComm members provided comments. Don sent price and payment instructions to Catalina.	Stan to send a message on the prices and payment procedures to PES members Catalina to update information on the Website with payment instructions
2. NEC Update Class Sponsors Mike provided sponsorship information, level, and payment flyer to all. ChapCom members contacted the companies they selected and provided the results. Stan passed out a draft of the sponsorship information he was to send to potential sponsors. ChapComm members provided comments.	Stan to send a message to remaining potential sponsors Catalina to post sponsorship information on the Website
3. NEC Publications Stan provided a draft of the publications information, prices, and payment he planned to send to PES members. ChapComm members provided comments. Don sent price and payment instructions to Catalina.	Stan to send a message on publication prices and payment procedures to PES members Catalina to update information on the Website with payment instructions
4. Logistics James reported that he had arranged for BBQ lunch with cups and utensils, soft drinks, break refreshments with ice, cups and napkins for morning and afternoon coffee. Stan showed us his excellent plan for managing registrations and payments, and receipts. Stan provided a possible plan for providing nametags for attendees. ChapComm members discussed possibilities for both the NEC class and future PES meetings. Further discussion on name tags for PES meetings was postponed until the February 12 meeting.	ChapComm members to hold all receipts for supplies they purchased and give to Bobby at Friday’s class Mike to check with JATC folks on availability of coffee Stan to refine the NEC class name tag plan Mike to contact CTS for IEEE membership brochures
5. Future meetings ChapComm members agreed to schedule special ChapComm meetings on January 22 and 29 and February 5 and 19 at TxDot. The monthly ChapComm meeting remains scheduled for February 12 at Catfish Parlour.	Stacy and Rheuben to continue to get speakers for the remainder of the year and Jan and Feb of 2009. Stacy to send latest schedule to Catalina. Catalina to update Website schedules.
