Agenda Item and Completed Action	Action Before Next Meeting
1. NEC Code Class Logistics Planning Stan presented his impressive plan for name badges. ChapComm members unanimously approved the plan. A similar approach is planned for general meetings. Stan presented a problem with sales tax payments for credit card purchases. ChapComm members discussed how many books to order from Grayboy.	Stan to send out a final general message to all PES members. Mike to send the ChapComm members the IEEE tax number Stan to discuss the sales tax problem with Hill Country Stacy to call Grayboy and find out if they are bringing extra books and if they will send us books after the class for walk-ins if we run out.
2. NEC Update Class Sponsors. The deadline for sponsor commitment remains at February 15.	ExComm members to let Stan know who they have contacted, who confirmed, and who have paid Stan to keep all ExComm members informed on the status of sponsor payments and any help he needs with contacting potential sponsors
3. NEC Publications ChapComm members agreed that we should notify chapter members that books from late orders may not be available until after the course.	Stan to send a final message reminding PES members that publication quantities are limited and other details.

4. 2008 General Meeting Schedule Stacy and Rheuben contacted potential speakers through spring.	Stacy and Rheuben to continue to get speakers for the remainder of the year and Jan and Feb of 2009. Stacy to send latest schedule and announcements to Catalina. Catalina to post information to Website
5. Engineer of the year SelectComm members continue to meet.	Continuing
6. Some L31 reports may be missing. The deadline for submission appears to be February 20.	Stacy to resubmit any missing L31 reports by February 20
7. Review old paperwork Mike reviewed and passed the box to Don.	Don to review and pass the box to Stan.
8. Website photos	Walter to email a photo to Catalina. Catalina to post a photo of Walter and herself
9. Posting job announcements of non-power jobs. The ChapComm members agreed that the conditions listed on the Website still apply and two ChapComm members need to review each posting before it is posted. The ChapComm will continue to approve permanent postings.	Completed
10. Student Chapter. The UT student chapter PES sent us an email advising that a group of students plan to attend our March meeting. The ChapComm approved paying for their meals.	Mike and Stan to respond to the email. Bobby to explore getting CTS to pay for their meals
11. Chapter awards	Stacy will check the submission dates of awards we might like to submit ourselves for.
12. Next meetings The last special meeting to prepare for the Code Class will be February 19, followed by regular meeting on March 11 and the second Tuesday of each month for the rest of the year. The meetings will be at TxDot unless we are notified otherwise.
