Action Before Next Meeting

1. NEC Code Class Results
Stacy contacted Kenny Rice and got the tax number. CTS prefers that we use it but will reimburse us for the tax if we do not.
Stan was working with Bobby to resolve the final payments.
James suggested using servers for the next lunch.
Stan was working to resolve one final class attendee payment due.
Mike, Stan, and Bobby were working final payments for NEC and Stallcup publications.

2. 2008 General Meeting Schedule
Catalina posted available information on the Website.
Stacy and Rheuben had several potential speakers they were contacting.
Potential programs include: City of Austin code variations from NEC; fire code and other considerations for fuel tanks; and ERCOT response to February power outage on grid;  

Stacy and Rheuben to send March speaker information to Catalina to post on Website

3. Engineer of the year
SelectComm members continued to meet.
Stacy and Mike to finalize selection and award presentation promptly
4. Some L31 reports may be missing
Stacy resubmitted the reports

Walter sent his photo to Catalina.
Rheuben
reported his messages to Catalina are being rejected.

Stacy reported that CTS will pay for meals for a group of students if we submit the paperwork.

Stacy submitted awards forms.

8. Meeting time
Members discussed ways to get the ChapComm meetings started and completed quicker than the two hours this meeting took.

Members to go through the serving line at 11:30 AM sharp to be included in the group receipt
Late members to go through separately, give their receipt to Bobby, and hope to get reimbursed

Stacy to begin the meeting at 11:45 AM and end the meeting no later than 1 PM.
9. Next meetings
The next regular meeting is scheduled for April 8 and the second Tuesday of each month for the rest of the year. The meetings will be at TxDot unless we are notified otherwise.
