Agenda Item and Completed Action	Action Before Next Meeting
1. NEC Code Class Results All subscribed code books have been paid for. We still need to collect some funds from Samsung and Hill Country.	Stan to contact Hill Country to settle account. Mike to contact Samsung to settle account. Bobby to finalize the financial report and send to ChapComm members after transactions are completed
2. 2008 General Meeting Schedule Stacy has tentative and confirmed programs lined up through January 2009 except October. We are considering a Christmas party.	Stacy to finalize the October 2008 meeting information and provide speaker topic and bio information on confirmed speakers to Catalina for the announcements and home page
3. Future education events ChapComm Members continued discussing the possibility of having an education program each year perhaps in April or early May.	Mike and Stacy to continue to explore education program alternatives for 2009 or 2010 before the next NEC update class in 2011
4. Local cash box We can keep a cash box with proper receipts.	Stacy and Bobby to discuss details with Kenny at the fall CTS officers meeting in San Marcos
5. PDH certification We determined that our procedures meet Texas requirements.	Completed
6. L-31 Reports Rheuben volunteered the help Stacy with the L-31 reports.	Stacy to teach Rheuben the L-31 software.
7. 2009 nomination candidates Tentative nominees are: Chapter Committee Chair: Rheuben Hair Vice Chair: Bobby Speer Secretary: Stan Friend Treasurer: Don Drumtra	ChapComm members to announce elections at the next meeting and continue to search for nominations for Member-at-Large and Webmaster
8. Awards Stacy reported that the Awards Committee will consider awards earlier this year. Members include Mike (Chair), Stacy, Roy, and James.	Stacy to continue to lead the Awards Committee
9. Next meetings: The next regular ChapComm meeting is scheduled for September 9 and the second Tuesday of each month for the rest of 2008 at TxDot unless the chapter membership is notified otherwise.
