1. IBC Class. Brochure indicates large focus on Seismic forces. ChapComm decided the class must pertain to grounding and bonding, generator and fuel considerations, battery rooms and UPS and other electrical code issues. |
ChapComm to review practicality of a class through IEEE in Austin, TX. Rheuben and Mike to develop class table of contents for class. |
| 2. James has reserved TxDOT room for class date (May1). |
James to see what other dates (Fridays) are available at TxDOT. |
3. 2009 General Meetings
Review menu and pricing. The $20 items have been removed. New items have been added to the menu. |
ChapComm decided menu items and voted in pricing based on restaurant price increases.
Mike to make new menu, send out new menu for review, and update spreadsheet. |
| Next meetings. The next regular ChapComm meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, and the second Tuesday of each month in 2009. The November meeting will be at a location to be announced. Other meetings will be at TxDot unless the chapter membership is notified otherwise. |
