MEP Engineering, Inc. is looking for a motivated power engineer with proven abilities in, MEP design, a positive attitude, and familiarity in working as part of an A/E building design team on design and construction administration of multiple commercial, institutional, and industrial projects of varying types in Austin, Texas. Qualifications include: BSEE (minimum) and Texas PE required, with experience including::

- Needs to be a team leader with excellent communication skills
- Comfortable with using AutoCAD for drawing generation

The Public Utility Commission of Texas has an opening in Austin for an Engineering Specialist in the Infrastructure and Reliability Division. This person will make recommendations and advice the Commission and staff in proceedings that concern electric utility operations. Will be responsible for evaluating transmission projects proposed by utilities. Evaluate the reliability and service quality of retail electric providers and the transmission and distribution utilities.
