The Public Utility Commission of Texas has an opening in Austin for an Engineering Specialist in the Infrastructure and Reliability Division. This person will make recommendations and advice the Commission and staff in proceedings that concern electric utility operations. Will be responsible for evaluating transmission projects proposed by utilities. Evaluate the reliability and service quality of retail electric providers and the transmission and distribution utilities. Applicant must have a Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or related field and two years of experience. Salary range depending upon qualifications is $4,000 - $5,500 per month.
