Speaker:

Mario Hernandez of 3M will present Medium Voltage Theory and Products, in joint effort with Bill Taylor, Product Development Manager . . . the man with the plan and knowledge of all things Electrical.

Personal: Married to a wonderful wife (Erin Shea) that happens to be an awesome Pastry Chef. My Son Lorenzo Hernandez is currently 4 years old and loves to swim. I’ve lived in Austin for 10 years and have been in love with the city for about 9.5 years.

Education: B.A. in Psychology. Graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in May 1994. Specialized in Learning Theory and Cognitive Development.

Employment: I’ve been working for 3M for about 8 years and have been with the Electrical Markets Division for about 5 years.

Presentation: General overview of medium voltage theory and product solutions from 3M Electrical Markets Division. Open discussion on splicing and terminating of medium voltage shielded cable.

Directions to 3M Innovation Center:

From North Loop 360, Capital of Texas Highway, Turn West on 2222. At the top of the hill, turn right (north) at the second light (River Place Blvd.), then turn right (east) at 3M Drive.

Once at 3M, follow the road toward the 3M Innovation Center. Proceed to the parking lot located in the front of the Innovation Center. Use the marked Visitor and Customer parking spaces. Go to the Innovation Center where Bill Taylor or Mario Hernandez will meet you, help you pick up your security badge, and provide you directions on where to join the group.
