The bar will be available to those who care to purchase a drink or beer. In fact, there is a service window, so we don't even have to leave the party room. When you order, you will have a choice from seven special selections and five traditional combinations on our menu. All meals include coffee or tea and special selections include soft drinks. |

Lance S. Kinney, P.E. Deputy Executive Director of the TBPE |

| Bio: |
Mr. Kinney is the Deputy Executive Director of the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. He has been with the Board for over six years and oversees various agency programs and activities, including legislative, rule, and policy issues, provides assistance to the executive director and Board members, and represents the Board at statewide and national functions. He also gives licensing and ethics outreach presentations all over the state at universities, companies, and associations.
Prior to working at the Board, he worked in the semiconductor industry for 11 years. He has a Bachelors Degree in Physics from the University of Texas, a Masters Degree in Industrial Technology from Texas State University, and is working on a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology at the University of Texas. He has lectured as an adjunct professor in the Engineering and Technology Department at Texas State University and Electronics and Advanced Technologies Department at Austin Community College. Hobbies include ice hockey, music, and computers.

| Presentation: |
This presentation will provide an update on recent changes to professional engineering laws and rules, important issues related to engineering practices and ethics, and issues related to being a Professional Engineer in Texas.

There is a large parking lot in front of and on the south side of the restaurant. The meeting will be held in the party room to the left of the cashier’s counter. |

Directions: |
From I –35: Exit at Oltorf and drive west. At S. Congress, turn left (south). El Gallo is about 500 feet past the next traffic light (Cumberland), on the right (west) side of Congress, directly across from the entrance to St. Edward’s University.
From Ben White Blvd. (US290/SH71): Exit at S. Congress Avenue and drive north. El Gallo is about 600 feet past the next traffic light (Woodward), on the left (west) side of Congress directly across from the entrance to St. Edward’s University. |
