Impact of a New DOE Regulation and Environmentally Friendly
Medium Voltage Transformer Installations |
| |
|
| Abstract: |
A new DOE regulation affecting medium voltage transformers may
already be impacting you, or will very soon. While this regulation will result in
more efficient transformers, thereby making them more environmentally friendly,
there are other cost effective measures to make transformers more
environmentally favorable while improving their performance as well. We will
explore some of these opportunities leading to “greener” transformers including
the new mandatory DOE regulation. |
