IEEE-PES Malaysia Chapter Senior Members Initiative

Starting from the 2003 Session, IEEE-PES Malaysia Chapter is conducting an intensive drive to promote qualified members to the Senior Member grade as a recognition to the members' technical and professional excellence. The requirements for elevation to the Senior Member grade is stated in the IEEE By-law thus:

"… a candidate shall be an engineer, scientist, educator, technical executive or originator in IEEE- designated fields. The candidate shall have been in professional practice for at least ten years and shall have shown significant performance over a period of at least five of those years.".

How to apply for the Senior Membership grade?

1. Fill up the Senior Member application form. An electronic version of the form is available for download here.
   
   
2. Email your completed application form to the IEEE-PES Malaysia Chapter Secretary, Dr Titik Khawa Abdul Rahman, takitik@streamyx.com.
   The Chapter will provide all necessary references for your application and forward your application form and the references to IEEE.
