Abstract:
Tim gave an interesting presentation about the different bio-mass technologies that are being
considered by APS. The bio-mass technologies ranged from waste wood to manure from cattle, pig,
and chicken feedlots. One actual plant that is in operation was described as well as other pilot
projects that are being worked on. Following Tim's presentation, a healthy round of questions were
fielded.
Biography:
Timothy McDonald has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA and is a registered
Professional Engineer. Tim has twenty-nine years of diversified experience with APS in Project Management,
Project Engineering, Marketing, Research, Technology Transfer and General Business responsibilities.
This period has encompassed assignments at the Four Corners plant, Nuclear Engineering, Marketing and the Technology Development department. Tim presently is a Senior Engineer in the Technology Development Department
at APS.
