Transmission Manager, Florida Power and Light Energy

Jack Hochheimer is a 35-year Power Systems Engineering veteran, with the bulk of experience in Transmission Planning. In his current assignment as Transmission Manager at FPL Energy (FPLE), in Juno Beach Florida, he is responsible for all transmission-related technical and contractual activities associated with FPLE generation projects, including interconnection of new projects and resolution of operational issues for existing assets.

Prior to joining FPLE, Jack worked at FPLE's regulated affiliate, Florida Power & Light (FPL), in the areas of Transmission Planning, Substation Design, Construction and Project Management, and Transmission Operations. Prior to FPL, he worked as a Transmission Planner for ARAMCO in Saudi Arabia, and for Niagara Mohawk in upstate New York.
