Mark Nealon

 

Mark Nealon has been an employee of Union Electric and AmerenUE for over 25 years.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri – Rolla in 1981, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois – Urbana in 1982, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri – St. Louis in 1990.  Mark has worked in a number of engineering and supervisory capacities over the years, including those in distribution planning, systems development, line construction and operations.  He is currently the Manager of a department in Energy Delivery called Reliability Improvement, in which he has responsibility for the execution of the $300 million Undergrounding Conversion Program associated with Project Power On, first announced to the public in July of 2007.  He is also a standing member of the AmerenUE Storm Team and helps man its St. Louis Emergency Operations Center during periods of severe weather and other system emergencies.  Mark is a registered professional engineer in the States of Missouri and Illinois.
